Umodzi SACCO successfully held its 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 4th April 2026 at Sunbird Capital Hotel, Mulanje Room, in Lilongwe. The meeting brought together members, stakeholders, and guests to review the Sacco's performance and discuss its future direction.

The event was graced by Mr. Denis Kalekeni as the Guest of Honour, alongside the Chapter 2 Director, MUSCCO Chief Financial Officer, MUSCCO Business Development Officer, and UN SACCO Manager.

A key highlight of the AGM was the election of Board and Supervisory Committee members. The elections were conducted by MUSCCO and Chapter 2 representatives transparently and fairly. Mrs. Lestina Chidandale was elected with 35 votes, while Mr. Baluti secured a Board position with 17 votes.

The AGM was well-organized, with active member participation and excellent coordination by staff. The successful meeting reaffirmed Umodzi SACCO's commitment to good governance, transparency, and serving its members.
